Hartman Inc. Terms and Conditions

Your use of the web site is governed by the policies, terms, and conditions set forth below. Please read the following information carefully. By using this site or submitting an order for products or services, you indicate your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site and please do not submit any orders for products or services. These terms and conditions may be changed by Hartman Inc. in the future. It is your responsibility as a user to periodically return to this page to review the terms and conditions for amendments. The amended terms shall take effect automatically the day they are posted on the site. Your continued use of the Hartman web site following any amendments will constitute agreement to such amendments. These Terms of Service were last revised on September 5th, 2000.


All prices quoted are exclusive of taxes, freight charges, and handling charges. Purchaser shall furnish Hartman Inc. with appropriate tax exemption certificate, if applicable. Prices may fluctuate due to availability. Price and availability of products and services offered on the web site are subject to change without prior notice. To the extent we provide information on availability of products or services, you should not rely on such information. Hartman Inc. will not be liable for any lack of availability of products and services you may order through the web site. For all merchandise, Hartman Inc. reserves the right to adjust prices due to errors or changing market conditions.Due to the fast pace of the industry, all prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-the-minute information. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our web site may be mis-priced. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Hartman Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. -If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.

-If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish. While we make every attempt to verify prices before charging your credit card, Hartman Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed on a mis-priced product whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Hartman Inc. shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. We believe that day-in, day-out, our pricing is very attractive relative to our competition. Combined with our product assortment, product availability and service level, we believe that we offer a compelling shopping experience. With that in mind, we do not “match” competitor’s pricing, offer price protection, or provide “quantity quotes.”

Making Purchases

If you wish to make purchases of products or services described on the web site, you will be asked to supply certain information, including but not limited to credit card or other payment information. You agree that all information that you provide to Hartman Inc. will be accurate, complete and current. You agree to pay all charges incurred by authorized users of your account and credit card or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You will also be responsible for paying any applicable taxes, and shipping and handling charges relating to your purchases.

Payment Methods

Hartman Inc. accepts VISA, MasterCard, and Cash. For your protection, we check all credit cards for potential fraud. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number – the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order.

Your credit card will not be billed until we ship the order. Hartman Inc. charges applicable sales tax on all orders shipped within the state of Idaho. All orders paid by Money Order will be processed only upon arrival of Money Order. Extended Warranties are nonrefundable.

Shipping Policy

Most orders are shipped the same day for all in stock items. Most items are in stock. All orders are shipped UPS (Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air Saver). All orders are processed at 4:30pm MST M-F. Orders placed after 4:30pm MST will be processed the next business day. All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. No Exceptions. Any orders that include a backordered item will be shipped once all items are in stock unless a request for shipment of all-in-stock items is made (additional charges may apply) please call for details. We ship to all 50 states. Please call us for rates to Alaska and Hawaii. Adult signature is required on all shipped packages. Shipping charges are automatically calculated and shown to you when you checkout. The total shipping charges are calculated based on the shipping zone your order be shipped to and the total weight of all the items in your order. Shipment of all products shall be shipped from Hartman Inc. warehouse, unless otherwise indicated. In the event of damage, delay, or loss due to the mishandling in transportation, purchaser shall deal directly with the common freight carrier. Purchaser shall instruct Hartman Inc. with shipping instructions. If no specific instructions are given, Hartman Inc. will select the most reasonable shipping method to ensure the on time delivery, with reasonable freight cost. Hartman Inc. is not liable for delay or any freight charge of shipment due to the absence of shipping instruction from purchaser. In the case of shipment delay due to the cause of purchaser, Hartman Inc. will store all products ordered at purchaser’s risk and expense.


Hartman Inc. offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for all defective products purchased directly from Hartman Inc., provided that the product is returned in its original box and includes all original packing material, original manuals, cables, and any accessories that came with the item. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee for any non-defective product returned to Hartman Inc.. Unless you are returning a defective product, you will be responsible for return freight charges. All returns must be received at our warehouse no more than 14 days from the date the item was shipped to you. To accomplish this, Hartman Inc. recommends that you obtain a return authorization (RMA) number from our customer service department at (208) 468-1073 within 7 calendar days of the ship date to you, thereby allowing sufficient time for the product to be returned by less costly shipping, such as UPS Ground. To obtain an RMA number, the purchaser is required to provide the invoice number, shipping date, model number, serial number, and the reasons of return. Returns received beyond 14 calendar days from the original ship date will be rejected and will be returned to you. You are responsible for paying shipping charges for returning product to Hartman Inc.. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable under any circumstances. Hartman Inc. has the right to refuse any return due to: expired RMA number, physical damage, no RMA number on shipping label, or missing parts (including packaging).

Defective on Arrival (D.O.A.)

Products that are reported as defective on arrival (D.O.A.) by the purchaser may be returned to Hartman Inc. for credit or refund, within 14 days from the invoice day under which the products were shipped. Hartman Inc. will return the repaired or replaced products to the purchaser at Hartman Inc.’ cost, provided that the products were originally purchased from Hartman Inc., and still covered by the warranty policy, and such products are confirmed to be defective. For defective products returned, the purchaser is required to test and identify the nature of defect. Should Hartman Inc. find the products to be non-defective, such orders will incur a 20% restocking fee, as do non-defective returned products. Non-defective product You may return products for credit within 14-days from our shipping date. A restocking fee of 20% or $50(whichever is larger) will be subtracted from the credit. Packages refused at the time of delivery will be considered a return and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refunds or credit back on non-defective products shall be limited to the price of the actual products only. Shipping & Handling will be non-refundable.

Returns, Refunds and Refused Orders.

For non-defective products, Hartman Inc. does not accept return of sold products after 14 days from Hartman Inc.’ invoice date, nor does Hartman Inc. refund or credit back the purchase money after the above-mentioned period of time. To qualify for the refund or credit back, purchaser must notify Hartman Inc. timely, obtain proper authorization from Hartman Inc. and at the purchaser’s expenses deliver the products to Hartman Inc.’ warehouse within the above-mentioned 14-day period of time. All shipping and insurance charges on all RMA’s must be prepaid by the customer (NO C.O.D.’S WILL BE ACCEPTED). RMA number must be marked clearly outside the carton, and also on the mailing labels. Proof of purchase and a note of reasons for return must be enclosed. In the event that the RMA shipment does not meet all the above conditions, Hartman Inc. reserves the right to refuse the shipment, and the imposition of handling charges (on defective products). No freight collect or C.O.D. on return RMA shipment will be accepted by Hartman Inc.

To obtain a Return Authorization Number:

1. Locate the packing slip or Invoice included with your original shipment. Reference the “Order ID”.

2. Contact Customer Service at (208)468-1073 Monday through Friday between 10:00AM and 8:00PM EST.

3. The Return Authorization number issued by our Customer Service representative must appear on the shipping labels of all returned packages. Returns with writing on the original manufacturer’s packaging will be subject to a repackaging fee of $25.00. Packages without RMA numbers will be refused. Products must be returned to Hartman Inc. freight pre-paid.

4. RMA numbers are valid for ten (10) days from issue date.

It is your responsibility to get the item back to Hartman Inc.. Shipping is not refundable. Returns must be sent via UPS, Federal Express, or any courier that issues a tracking number.

Cancelled Orders

Once an order has been entered and you have received an order confirmation number, we can only cancel an order if the item is on backorder status. To request cancellation of a backorder, you can either call our Customer Service Department at (208)468-1073. Orders accepted by Hartman Inc. are not subjected to change or cancellation by purchaser without the consent of Hartman Inc. or its authorized agents. A minimum of twenty percent (20%) order-processing fee will be applied to the orders changed or canceled.

Conflicting Terms

All orders accepted by Hartman Inc. shall be subjected to Hartman Inc. Standard Terms and Conditions of Sales. Any terms and conditions presented in orders placed by purchaser, which are in conflict with Hartman Inc. Standard Terms and Conditions then in effect, shall be inapplicable without the written approval from Hartman Inc..

Governing Law

Transactions between you and Hartman Inc. shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to the laws regarding conflicts of law. Any litigation regarding this agreement or any transaction between customer and Hartman Inc. shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Idaho and the customer hereby agrees and submits to such jurisdiction and venue as proper.

Legal Disclaimers

Seller hereby expressly disclaims all warranties either expressed or implied including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This disclaimer by the seller in no way affects the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Title to goods herein being purchased is retained by seller until goods are paid for by the purchaser and at the time title passes to purchaser. If goods herein being purchase are being purchased for the purposes of export, purchaser must obtain from the Federal Government certain export documentation before shipping to a foreign country. In addition, manufacturer’s warranties for exported goods may vary or even be null and void. If you have any questions please contact one of our representatives. A possibility exists that the web site could include inaccuracies or errors. Additionally, a possibility exists that unauthorized additions, deletions and alterations could be made by third parties to the web site. Although Hartman Inc. attempts to ensure the integrity of the web site, it makes no guarantees whatsoever as to its completeness, correctness, or accuracy. In the event that such an inaccuracy arises, please inform Hartman Inc. so that it can be corrected.
